Top 40,000 kasing for the fifth consecutive day, Kerala is still driving a surge

Thiruvananthapuram: The country has reported 20,624 new Covid-19 cases from 1.67,579 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The test level of the test is at 12.31%.
Meanwhile, 80 recently confirmed deaths as caused by Covid, took the death toll related to 16,782.
At the same time, 16,865 patients have recovered from the disease.
Among new cases, 19,487 cases have been infected through local transmission.
Infectious contact sources cannot be tracked for 927.
There are 98 health professionals among those infected, and 112 people have arrived from outside the country.
Malappuram has reported the highest number of cases – 3,474, followed by Thrissur (2,693), Palakkad (2,209), Kozhikode (2,113), Ernakulam (2,072), Kollam (1,271), Kannur (1,120), Kottayam (1,120), Kottayam (1,120) , 1,111), Thiruvananthapuram (969), Kasaragod (715), Pathanamthitta (629), Wayanad (530), and Idukki (375).
So far, 32,08,969 people have recovered from Coronavirus infection in the country while 1.64,500 patients are still undergoing treatment.
There are a total of 4,55,078 people currently observing throughout the state, where 4,26,640 is in the center of house or institutional quarantine, and 28,438 in isolation in hospitals.
There are 62 local bodies that have TPR below 5%, 294 local bodies with TPR between 5% and 10%, 355 local bodies with TPR between 10% and 15% and 323 local bodies with TPR above 15% above the country.
