Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leadership is likely to take at least one or two days to choose the best name to be appointed in the Yogi Aditentalath cabinet.
Their recent list which will be named after ministers, are nominated as MLC and accommodated in various companies and boards estimated on August 23.
Sources at BJP told Toi that the names of at least 10-12 MLA and leaders have been sent to the BJP Central Leadership for Final Approval.
The decision on the expansion of the cabinet was taken during the meeting on August 19 which was attended by the Minister of Houses Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Chair of Yogi Adityanath, BJP President of the SWATANTRA DEV State Sunil Bansal (organization).
In accordance with the decision, the President of the Party of Nishad Sanjay Nishad and the former member of the Congress parliament recently inaugurated by Jitin Prasada will be accommodated.
The Yogi government will first announce the nomination for MLC which will be followed by the cabinet expansion.
A Senior BJP leader told TOI expansion will take place this month himself if everything goes according to plan.
According to sources, Sanjay Nishad and Jitin Prasada may get a BJP nomination for MLC seats.
Four MLC seats have been lying empty since 4.
July because Jitin Prasada will be nominated in all possibilities, the former Head of BJP Laxmikant Bajpai may have to wait for heights.
Although it is likely that Nishad and Prasada will be appointed in the Yogi government, if Nishad fails to get to the cabinet, one MLA from the Nishad community can be installed.
The name Sangeeta Bind Balwant, Mla from Ghazipur, is doing a round.
The names of RAM Chandra Pradhan and OP Srivastava, which is the treasurer of the BJP Awadh area, also conducts rounds for MLC nominations.
A total of 6-7 mlaz and MLC are likely to be installed in the cabinet.
The party can accommodate one of their respective ministers from the Dhobi, Valmiki, Gurjar and Jat community.
From the Gurjar community, Result Tomar or Tejpal Nagar can be installed.
The party can induce at least two MLA from Dalit Quota.
Khair MLA Anup Pradhan and the Dinesh Chaudhary Legislator’s Emprother is in the list of possibilities.
The Think-Tank Party will make adjustments to maintain the equation of caste and social in mind, the source said and added that prohibiting one Brahmanic minister, others can be in the form of Dalit or OBC.
