Bensalem: At least five people were injured when the weather was severely hit the car dealer, home and other businesses in East Pennsylvania, the authorities said.
National weather service confirmed two tornadoes that touched Thursday at Bucks County, sending fallen trees and flying debris.
Bloody roads and roar highways.
“I have done this for 34 years, I haven’t seen such a shelter from a storm,” said Director of Public Security Police Bensalem Fred Harran.
One of the tornadoes damaged car dealers and car home parks, news outlets were reported.
Four people were injured at the dealer and the five were injured in the nearest business, Harran told reporters at a press conference at night.
All injuries are considered not life-threatening, he said.
A video posted on Twitter shows the building in a collapsed dealer, with abundant emergency sirens.
Anthony Perez, an employee at the dealer, told the courier Bucks County that the weather warnings were heard on the phone right before the tornado hit.
“At that time, we were looking for a shelter,” he said.
“Everything is in Flash.” Harran said the authorities would work all night to help people secure housing or return to their homes, restore power outages and clean the highway, filled with debris after the tornado exploded.
“We will have rush hour Friday morning in the area, which has a lot of traffic,” Harran said.
Severe weather is a problem around the region Thursday, with NWS issued a warning in New Jersey and Ohio too.
