Total lockdown from 17 villages until June 21 at Dakshina Kannada

MANGALURU: The Dakshina Kannada district government on Sunday declared a comprehensive lockdown at 17 gram panchayats, in which the range of Covid-19 instances is over 50.
The district reported 434 new instances of this illness on Sunday, requiring the active instances to 7,019.
With a more departure, the Covid passing tally of this district climbed to 977.
The positivity rate of this district has decreased from 12.9percent on Saturday about 7.2percent on Sunday.
Deputy commissioner K Rajendra stated that total lockdown will soon be in force in Neermarga and Konaje at Mangaluru taluk; Naravi, Koyyuru, Mittabagilu, Maladi, Neriya, Laila, Ujire and Charmadi at Belthangady taluk; Aivarnadu, Amara Mudnooru, Kollamogaru, Guthigaru and Aranthodu at Sullia taluk and Subrahmanya and Savanooru g panchayats from Kadaba taluk, by 9am on Monday into 9am on June 21.
“Gram panchayats and task forces can seal their various authorities.
Just those in the health care industry, milk providers, gas bunks along with other medical emergency providers are permitted to move.
Others won’t be permitted to go into the villages exit.
Task forces in these secured gram panchayats will guarantee source of key things to the villagers on fee basis,” that the DC added.
Back in UdupiCovid-19 cases continued to collapse in Udupi, together with the district coverage 223 new cases on Sunday.
The district active instances saw a decrease in the previous weekly, by 4,085 about June 7 to 3,222 on Sunday.
The district, although incorporating four deaths, has improved its Covid passing tally into 360.
Meanwhile, yet another mucormycosis instance was reported at the district.
Udupi DC G Jagadeesha stated that the district may restrain the Covid-19 propagate through job forces in cities, along with the attempts of the health division.
