New Delhi: Ladakh will host the first edition of the Himalaya Film Festival 2021 from September 24 to 28 at Leh.
The five-day festival, which aims to provide leg-ups to tourism and culture of the Himalayan region, will promote prospective filmmakers to show off Ladakh and other Himalayas countries as an interesting goal for film shooting.
This festival will be held by the Union region in collaboration with the Information & Broadcasting Department, and attended the highest and first inflatable theater launch on Leh last month.
Open for filmmakers from Ladakh, Assam, Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh, Festival, officials, will focus on recognizing local talents, connecting community filmmaking through the project Network and collaborative projects, and “Film Making Center Performance and incentives to local talents to pursue careers in filming”.
