Manali: A group of tourists from Punjab allegedly attacked two people with a sword in the bath on Friday night, hurt them poorly and cut the finger of one person.
The criminals fled after committing a crime.
The vehicle they travel has been intercepted in Lahaul Valley on Saturday.
According to the police, they have received information from a zonal hospital, bathing, that two people, Anil Sharma and Hitesh Vaidya, have been taken to the hospital in injured conditions.
Both of them tell the police that they stood on the roadside along with their three friends in Thanehra Bazaar around 11:30 when the SUV came from the side of the bath bus and stopped at a distance of about 10 feet of them.
They added that four people rushed out of the SUV and one of them attacked them with a sword after that all escaped from the place.
Additional explorer Ashish Sharma police said the fingers of the right hand was fully cut and Vaidya had suffered a deep wound in his left hand.
“Immediately after the incident, all police stations were assorted.
Vehicles and all defendants have been detained at the Kongsar Police Station in Lahaul on Saturday.
They were taken to take a bath for further investigation,” he added.
This is not the first time tourists attacked locals in Himachal.
The bloody conflict between tourists and the local community became normal in recent years.
In many cases, tourists carry swords, iron trunks, and even weapons with them to threaten, intimidate, and attack others.
