Gandhinagar: To attract investors and increase positive sentiment in front of the upcoming global Gujamat Summit scheduled for January 2022, the Government Gujarat will announce about half a dozen new policies in the main sectors such as energy, and aggression, electronics and business.
Chairman of Minister Bhupendra Patel will immediately announce this policy.
The government is also expected to approve the lowest old demands made by the industry.
State Information Technology & Ti 2016 Ti Service Policy Policy will be for a moment.
So, the government is working on new policies that will have a greater ambit.
The possibility will include technologies that appear like blockchain, artificial intelligence and robotics.
Compared to the 2016 policy where incentives are given to make it & ites accommodate properties, new policies will focus on providing infrastructure plug-and-play entry-and-out which is easily rented.
This policy is also expected to offer incentives related to labor to attract talents and increase the growth of this sector.
Similarly, the current policy for the electronics industry will also end this month.
To develop new policies, the state government consulted with large, medium and small electronic companies to understand their needs and also study other country policies.
Like IT / ITES policy, the government intends to provide incentives to maintain the necessary labor for the industry.
Meanwhile, the State Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a draft for new Agri-Business policies that have proposed to reduce investment criteria from Rs 50 Lakh to RS 35 Lakh.
It also proposes a reduction in interest subsidies from 7.5% to 7%.
This decision has been taken to match state industry policies that offer benefits of costs only by RS 35 Lakh and 7% of interest subsidies.
“Although financial benefits have been reduced in the proposed policy, it is expected to consider higher demand, more applications will be accepted and more industry will be given benefits,” said the source.
The Department of Energy & Petrochemistry also works on three main policies, namely wind power plants, waste to energy, and small hydropower plants to double the power plant from these three sectors.
