New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Thursday said it would increase the price of Inova Crysta Versatile vehicles to 2% with the effects of next month.
The company will synchronize the price of Innova Crysta to 2% effective August 1, 2021, the car maker said in a statement.
This increase is required to compensate for some major increases in input costs, he added.
The price increase has been tapered considering the impact on company customers, TKM states.
“As a customer-centered company, we remain committed to meeting the needs and needs of our growing customers who consciously minimize the impact of increasing consumer costs,” he recorded.
Prices of precious metals such as Rhodium and Palladium have increased significantly over the past year.
Steel prices also remain high during that period.
On Wednesday, Tata Motors said it would increase the price of all passenger vehicles from next week.
Earlier this month, the largest car maker in the country Maruti Suzuki India climbed the price of Swift hatchback and other CNG variants of other models to RS 15,000 to fight input fees.
Likewise, Honda has also announced the increase in the price of all its models in India from August because it seems to compensate for the impact of commodity prices.
