Toyota to raise vehicles from January

New Delhi: Authotel Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Tuesday said it would increase the price of all the models up to 2 percent with the effects of October 1 to partly offset the impact of increasing input costs.
The company, which is a joint venture between the Toyota Motor Company and the Kirloskar Japan Group, sells various vehicles including Innova Crysta and Fortuner in the domestic market.
The company will synchronize the price of the model, with the effect of October 1, 2021, the TKM said in a statement.
All company models except Vellfire will see price increases up from next month.
“This increase is needed partly to compensate for increasing input costs.
The overall price increase has been tapered considering the impact on our valuable customers,” said the car maker.
In the past year, there has been a gradual increase in the prices of various important commodities such as steel and precious metals.
This has caused an increase in input costs for car makers.
Already various companies have announced to raise prices from next month.
Last week, Tata Motors said it would increase the price of commercial vehicles ranging around 2 percent with the effect of October 1.
Similarly, the largest Carmaker in Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has increased the price of all its products, except Celerio, except Celerio, except up to 1.9 percent.
The company has noted that it has made decisions to climb prices due to an increase in various input costs.
It was the increase in the third price of MSI this year.
In a two-wheeled room, the Motocorp hero has collected prices three times this year.
The company has revised upwards in the price of a former motorcycle showroom and its scooter of Rs 3,000 with the effect of September 20.
The two-wheeled major has increased the price of motorbikes and its scooters to 1,500 rs in January, and again the RS 2,500 in April this year quoted an increase in input costs.
