TPR decreases in the coastal district

Mangaluru: Covid-19 cases in coastal districts continued to fall slightly, with Dakshina Kannada and Udupi reported 1,206 cases on Saturday , and five deaths of the district death to 1,744.
TPR of the district is 8.2% on Friday.
The district has 4,792 active cases, after the disposal of 795 Covid-19 patients.
The Ministry of Health has identified two clusters in Mangaluru Taluk.
One cluster has 27 positive cases, and other clusters with 13 cases identified in nursing colleges.
Meanwhile, Udupi reported 579 Covid-19 cases with 18.2% TPR.
TPR of the district is 25.7% on Friday.
Of the 579 cases, 320 was reported at the Taluk Udupi, while Kundapur and Karkala Taluk each recorded 161 and 93 cases.
The district has 5,642 active cases, and reported five deaths.
