TPR remains above 30% in the district

T’puram: The district records the peposititivity level of the test above 30% for the fifth day in a row.
TPR on Sunday is 36.8%.
In previous days, TPR was reported at 36.1%, 36.5%, 32.2% and 30.1%.
In the past week, this district recorded TPR seven-day highs – 28.91% – in the state.
Weekly TPR in two local bodies has crossed 50%.
A college in Nalannhira was declared closed after 69 Covid cases reported from January 3.
Within corporate limits, weekly TPR is 30.5% with 14,798 positive cases of 48,463 samples.
Many hospital staff report reinfection which are other causes of concerns with disagrees that do not affect Covid-related activities because cases soar.
Authorities on Sunday cancel all bookings for Ponmudi and Agastyarkoodam.
