Thiruvananthapuram: The country on Tuesday reported 24,296 positive cases after 1.34,706 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
The level of testicitivity (TPR) has increased to 18.04%.
As much as, 173 recently confirmed deaths as caused by Covid, took the death toll in the country to 19,758.
At the same time 19,349 patients had recovered from this disease, and at this time, 1.59.33 patients underwent treatment for the same thing.
Among new cases, 22,775 have been infected through local deployment.
Infection contact sources cannot be traced to 1,313.
There are 90 health professionals among those infected and 118 people have arrived from outside the country.
Ernakulam with 3,149 reported the highest number of cases, followed by thrissur (3,046), cozhikode (2,875), malappuram (2,778), palakkad (2,212), kollalam (1,474), kottayam (1,435), kannur (1,435)), alappuzha (1,107) , Pathanamthitta (1,031), Wayanad (879), Idukki (612) and Kasaragod (518).
So far, 36,72,357 people have recovered from Koronavirus infection in the state.
The number of people infected through local contacts is as follows: Ernakulam (3,099), Thrissur (3,029), Kozhikode (2,826), Malappuram (2,678), Palakkad (1,754), Kolllayam (1,346), Thiruvananthapuram (1,346)), Kannur (1,297 ), Alappuzha (1,088), Pathanamthitta (1,013), Wayanad (866), Idukki (598) and Kasaragod (501).
Wise details of the district of infected health workers are as follows: Kannur (16), Palakkad (14), Kasaragod (12), Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Wayanad (7 each), Ernakulam and Thrissur (5 each), Thiruvananthapuram , Alappuzha and Kottayam (3 each), Malappuram (2) and Kozhikode (1).
The number of patients tested negative in each district is as follows: Thiruvananthapuram (1,087), Kollam (1,483), Pathanamthitta (642), Alappuzha (1,224), Kottayam (1,099), Idukki (1,170), Thrissur (2,476), Palackad (1,773 ), Malappuram (3,025), Kozhikode (2,426), Wayanad (663), Kannur (1,187) and Kasaragod (621).
There are a total of 4,67,051 people currently observing in various countries, where 4,41,012 is in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 26,039 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the ratio of the weekly infection population of 414 wards in 74 local bodies have more than 8% WIPR.
In this ward, strict locking restrictions have been implemented.
