Lucknow: A national bangladesh and two of his Rohingya colleagues were arrested from the Ghaziabad train station on Tuesday on charges of trafficking.
A team of the anti-terrorist squad (ATS) police also saved two girls from Myanmar – aged 16 and 18 – and sent them to a shelter in Lucknow.
The defendant has been identified as Mohammed Noor, Rehmatullah and Shabiullah.
The trio was not only involved in trading women and children from Bangladesh and Myanmar, but allegedly smuggling gold to India and helping people sneak into the country with fake documents.
ATS searches for four gang members, which is believed to be hiding in Hyderabad.
All three were accused of being taken from the Brahmaputra letter, which was on his way to Delhi from Assam.
Bangladesh Currency Bundles and False Documents, including photocopies of cards issued by the United Nations High Commissioner, recovered from them.
“Mohammed Noor is from Bangladesh and gang leaders while Rehmatullah and Shabiullah are Rohingya.
Gang members are involved in human trafficking and gold smuggling and also help other refugees sneak into the country through various channels,” said ADG (law and orders) Kumar Prashant.
Noor, according to the police, will captivate men with work promises at the factory.
They will promise to find suitable compatibility for women in India, but will eventually sell it to the client.
“They illegally entered India and secured work as laborers at the factory,” Kumar said.
“The trio has prepared fake Indian certificates for men so they get a job easily.
The women are traded,” the officer added.
The source said the gang member was on his way to Delhi on the express train.
They allegedly wanted to bring women to your watch.
ATS has worked on input about human trafficking for some time.
GK Goswamy, IG, ATS, said that after a tip-off, they had placed a gang member under electronic supervision and was waiting at the Ghaziabad train station on Tuesday to arrive.
The source said Noor and the others had taken the train from Kamakhya in Assam.
“We arrested three charges and saved the two girls.
The girls were sent to Asha Jyoti Kendra in Lucknow.
We will ask it later,” Goswamy said.
According to Sumber ATS Privy for investigation, Noor has lived in the country Illegally since 2012.
The girls were told of their marriage to be repaired with a young man from Jammu, the sources said.
The young man was also questionable, but let it.
