Jaipur: Tiff over using a fatal sanitiser when a 34-year-old businessman at Mansarover here strangled his wife with a plastic wire used to dry his clothes.
The murder occurred on Wednesday and the defendant, Rishi Raj Sharma, was arrested on Friday.
The police said Sharma had escaped from Baldev Marg immediately after crime like Shikha Sharma (32) lying down in bed.
To avoid arrest, he gave almost 25 missed calls on Shikha’s phone as he moved on Jalan Vatika, Narayan Vihar and Vande Mataram.
According to Vandana Narula Sub-Inspector, Sharma then called his father-in-law to say Shikha did not take the phone and asked him to examine it.
The old man who was worried Shikha arrived at his apartment and found his unconsciousness.
They called Sharma to go home immediately.
The defendant then drama before his in-laws showed concern over his wife’s condition.
The family first brought Shikha to the nearest hospital in Mansarover where they refused to admit it.
He was then taken to an SMS hospital where a medical expert signaled allegations of cheating.
Experts suggest that someone suffocate Shikha twice and put aside the possibility of hanging.
The police then looked at the victim’s husband.
Medical examination revealed a wire sign in his hand.
A team included the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Moran Singh and Chandrapal Chandrapal was issued to investigate this problem and sent to check the scene of evil.
After the police faced him, he began to reveal what happened on Wednesday night.
Sharma told the police that he had an argument that was heated with Shikha when he asked him to use sanitiser.
A few minutes later, Sharma allegedly issued a wire hanging in the room to dry clothes.
When Shikha asked him what he did, he said the wire didn’t look good.
When he left the dress, the defendant came from behind and strangled him.
