Traders in Annur seek justice for farmers, down the window

Coimbatore: Traders in Annur lowered their window leaves on Thursday urged the police to withdraw the case of Gobalsamy Gobirasipuram farmers, who were accused of imposing assistant Dalit Village to prostrate in front of him in Offarpalayam.

The Village Administration Officer Kalaiselvi, 32, Annur and Assistant Village of Muthusamy from Gobirasipuram, which was attached to Odderpalayam Village, was placed under the suspension on Monday because it provided false information to the committee suffered by Coimbatore Collector G SS Seseresi to investigate the charges against Gopalsamy.
Based on Gopalsamy’s complaint, Annur police registered a case against Muthusamy for attacking him.
A few days ago, Gopalsamy had an argument with Kalaiselvi over property issues.
Muthusamy intervened and slapped Gopalsamy.

Initially, Gopalsamy was ordered under the caste of schedules and tribes scheduled (prevention of atrocities) of the 2018 Amendment Act.
