Ludhiana: Farmers’ Unions have asked the Punjab voters to set aside traditional political parties “that loot country wealth and spread dirt”.
At the ceremony that the Punjab Federation Arhitya was organized in Samrala on Thursday to honor the Farmer Union who had pioneered the agitation of the year which forced the central government to revoke the three agricultural laws, President Sanyukt Samaj Morcha Balbir Singh Rajelam claimed that “Political Mafia” looted Rs 1 Lakh Crore every year from Punjab resources and “became a business for politicians who ruled the country for 70 years”.
Rajewal claims the sand business, gravel, cable, and liquor of the country is in the hands of politicians who have entered public life “to fill their cash instead of serving people”.
President Morcha said voters had the opportunity to eliminate this mafia in the upcoming elections of assembly, “or the country’s economic and social systems will collapse in two years”.
