Traffic easing, checking dust roads in air pollution plans for Gurgaon

Gurgaon: The Council of Polutionary Control of the State of Harmana (HSPCB) on Wednesday announced a few steps below the Micro Action Plan in Gurgaon to deal with air pollution, including ensuring a smooth flow of traffic in 13 vulnerable areas, a garbage disposal proposal and examined dust.
The main places identified are the border of Sirhol, Givo Cut, Imt Manesar, Kapriwash Chowk, Sohna Road, Conscious Bazar, Mahaveer Chowk, Atul Kataria Chowk, Dhankot, Daultabad Flyover, Chowk, Khandsa Road and Wazirpur Chowk.
In addition, the transfer of routes at a heavy intersection will also occur to reduce them.
The team will be formed to check air pollution from non-paved road dust, at least noticed from udyog Vihar Phase 1 to 5.
“HSPCB will regularly monitor air quality in four stations.

The main problem related to pollution has been classified into four heads – industrial emissions, traffic congestion, road dust and garbage.
HSPCB also recorded by regard to the problem of disposal of solid waste which was getting bigger in the city.
It’s looking for plans for garbage remediation and long-term settings for collecting and care.
MCG has been directed to ensure sanitation work, including cleaning the road and removal of waste within a week.
It will be responsible for checking the burning of waste and must ensure that the garbage collected correctly included in the vehicle.
The right boundary wall will be provided at the garbage collection point.
Discarded garbage and burning can be punished and can be ordered, said the council.
Gurgaon also plans to form a team of night patreed to monitor this.
“We have witnessed the problem of dust pollution, burning open garbage, vehicle pollution, construction sites that violate environmental norms, random disposal of construction and demolition of waste throughout the city, all of which contribute to air pollution,” said an HSPCB official.
