Trafiking gang is broken, children are saved; partner among 5 held

Ghaziabad: The police on Wednesday claimed to have damaged the child’s trade racket with the arrest of five people, including a partner.
They also saved an 18-month-old baby.
According to the police, the defendant was identified as Rakesh Kumar, Soniya, Sangeeta, Rajneesh Garg and his wife Kavita.
Everything is a noida resident.
The arrest came after input from Aligarh police to their Ghaziabad colleagues.
Alok Dubey, Circle Officer, Sahibabad, said that the gang was run by a man called Duryodhan from taking care of the last few years.
Soniya and Sangeeta were used to work for him as a mediator.
The two women used to move around Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida to find a partner who wanted a child.
“Whether the women used to continue information to Duryodhan about the address of a partner or family where a baby was born recently.
Duryodhan and his colleagues were used to kidnap children from their homes when they found them alone,” Dubey added.
The women in the gang were used to help who were accused of others, police said.
Nagendra Chaubey, Sho, Police Station Sahibabad, said that the defendant was used to kidnap children from slums and sell them to couples who did not have babies or people involved intraff.
“During interrogation, Sangeeta said that the gang was used to steal children according to the request of ‘customers’.
Most of them want children between six months and 1.5 years,” Chaubey said.
On December 23, 2020, Amar Singh, who lived in a slum near Haji House in Arthala, complained to the police that his one-year-old son and half a year was missing from home.
After that, Ghaziabad police submitted FIR below section 363 (punishment for kidnapping) IPC.
On Tuesday, Police Aligarh told Ghaziabad’s police that they had saved six children.
One of them is from Ghaziabad.
Immediately, a team went to Aligarh and found Aarav and handed it to his family.
All defendants were ordered below section 363 (kidnapping), 311 (anyone who became a criminal, would be punished with a life sentence and will also be responsible for fine) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) from the Criminal Procedure.
