Ayodhya: Four family members, including two children riding a pendant with bicycles were destroyed to death by a fast train when they crossed the railroad track in Durgapur-Ramparva, the crossing of the unmanned train at the Ayodhya District Police Station on Saturday.
The tragedy broke high claims from Indian trains which were all railroad crossings throughout the country were removed in February 2019 with booming barriers to fall at the last unmanned intersection – No.
28C Chunar Chopan – 180km from ProAgraj.
Police said the accident took place at the intersection of Durgapur-Rampava between BILHARIGHAT and the Ulnabhari train station on the main lane of Lucknow-Varanasi.
The dead were identified as Ramchandra Nishad, 38, his wife Vimla, 34, and their two children were Vimal, 4, and Ganesh, 2, all the villagers of Rampi Purwari nearest.
