KALYAN: The train services on up line between Kalyan and Kasara route was affected for around 4 hours after pantographs of the local train got entangled with overhead wires between Vashid and Khadavli railway station on Friday.
The incident took place on Friday at 3.30pm when a local train was going from Kasara to CSMT.
The Central railway officials said that tower the wagon was moved from Kalyan yard for restoration which clears up line at 7.20pm.
A spoke person of central railway said that “During the time the up line services between Kalyan and Kasara route was affected while the down line was running smoothly while services between Kalyan and CST did not affect”.
Due to technical fault the repercussions was seen as 2 mail express and one local train was held up.
