Jaipur: Chairman of the Minister of Ashok Gehlot on Monday asked the agricultural marketing department to train farmers in an online transaction to make the price of agricultural products more competitive and promote Mandis online trade.
Gehlot is reviewing the budget announcement and the progress of the department scheme through video conferencing from his residence.
The minister’s chairman said infrastructure development was needed to increase the value of agricultural products and ensure that farmers get a reasonable price for their products.
He said farmers must be done to visit the most successful Mandis with electronic payments.
The agricultural marketing department must make farmers realize by choosing Mandis under the pilot project and running a campaign to make a 100%-based bath.
Gehlot said after withdrawal of central agriculture laws, now the process of forming new independent mandis must be accelerated in stages.
