Chennai: Police Railway Government has arrested ticket officers at the MRT Train Station Thiruvannimiyur Chennai and his wife for stealing Rs 1,32,500 from his office and held a robbery drama.
The arrests have been identified as Tikka RAM, 28, Indigenous Rajasthan, and his wife Saraswathi, 27.
Tikka RAM, who has worked in the Department of Railway for the past five years in Kader Kberus, has borrowed RS 2.50 Total Lakh from his colleagues and friends Friends to play online games and suffer losses.
The question revealed that Tikka Ram had planned to steal money and held a robbery drama to solve the problem.
He asked his wife to visit the MRTS train station on Monday morning.
According to the plan, he rode autorickshaw from Urapakkam and went down from him at one bylane near Tidel Park.
He walked to the train station.
He met her husband in his room at the station and tied it with a rope, took a bag containing Rs 1,32,500 which he prepared and walked back to the Autorickshaw.
He returned to car and returned home.
A police team led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police Srikanth and Shalini Inspector examined CCTV prints from the area.
The recording shows a woman walking down the road to the train station and back with a bag.
The police team recorded the autorickshaw registration number he had traveled.
The team traced automatic drivers and asked him.
He told the police that he had dropped a woman in Urapakkam, near the Tikka Ram’s residence.
During the interrogation, Tikka Ram claimed to have held a robbery.
The team checks Tikka Ram’s house.
The woman kept a bag containing Rs 1,32,500 near the well behind the house.
The police recovered stolen cash.
