Training in Pediatric once a week at GIMS

Noida: The Institute of Government Medicine (GIMS) has decided to conduct a training camp on child health care once a week.
Previously, the camp was detained twice a week.
About 35 people have been trained in each of the seven sessions held so far.
The two-day program was held from Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday.
Staff at GIMS and private participants are getting busier with regular patients and fewer those who can attend training sessions, officials said.
“According to the course structure, around 80% of this training is practical so that health workers are able to handle patients in the pediatric department,” said Dr.
Brigadier (retirees) Rakesh Games, Director, GIMS.
He added that while 20% of Trainees were doctors, the rest were nurses and paramedic staff.
Free sessions for government staff and 1,500 Rs are charged from each private staff member.
Meanwhile, PGI and GIMS children have kept a 100 bed pediatric war for covid patients.
“Beds, equipment, oxygen plants and other infrastructure are ready and can be activated in a few hours.
We have a specialist at the hospital.
We also recruit several doctors and MBBS Junior doctors,” said Dr.
Jyotsna Madan, director of acting, pgi child.
