Transfer of SGPC Head Granthi & Manager

Patiala: In the midst of growing anger among several sikh factions for the smoking incident in takht kegarh sahib, the committee of the Shiroman Gurdwara Parbandhak (SGPC) has transferred the head of Granthi Phoola Singh and manager of Malkit Singh to Dukh Nivaran Sahib in Pathkula, Pathib, respectively.
Sikh faction has passed the resolution on Wednesday, demanding action against Jatharar, manager and head of Granthi from takht Kesparhi Sahib and two SGPC members.
SGPC issued an order later on and shifted Granthi’s head and manager to another Gurdwaras.
Meanwhile, Paramjeet Resident Ludhiana Singh, who was arrested for allegedly smoking in takht Kesparh Sahib on September 13, was ordered by 14-day judicial detention by the court on Thursday.
He spent 10 days in police detention.
Police Ropar also submitted an application in court to get brain mapping, Narco tests and lie detector tests carried out from the defendant.
Paramjeet was initially ordered for hurting religious sentiments but the next sections of UPA were slapped against him after SGPC President Aunt Aunt Jagir Kaur demanded the same thing.
His family is a follower of Dera Sacha Brother based in Sanda and his father is a member of the Sect Core Committee.
A few days ago, the Sikh faction had passed the resolution in the presence of takht Kesparh Sahib Jathedar Raghbir Singh, demanding that the state government close all branches of Sacha Sauda in Punjab.
A five member committee was founded by Takhar Jathedar’s sense to investigate irregularities in the administration section takhand will submit its report on September 25.
Jatharor Raghbir Singh has experienced a mild heart attack on Tuesday night and has been received in a personal hospital in Jalandhar.
