Transfer policies do not apply to university staff, said the government Haryana

Gurgaon: In the midst of rigid opposition from the teaching staff and non-teaching at the State University, the Higher Education Directorate on Thursday issued clarification that the government did not intend to expand the online transfers of general cadres to employees of state universities.

Last week, the section of the teaching and non-teaching staff had launched a protest to oppose the online transfer policy of the state government.
While the state government does not explicitly state that the policy will include university staff, training to compile teacher data on online portals has caused concern.
United Under Banner Federation Haryana from the University and College of Teacher Organization (HFucto), teachers from various universities, especially MDU, have protested policies and guarantees that demand from the government that university autonomy will not interfere with.
Student organizations have also joined protests and confirmed that they did not allow policies to be implemented for state universities.

We raised our demands and confirmed that we would intensify the protest.
That’s when we were told that the government had issued clarification.
