Hubballi: Authority of Hubballi-Dharwad Bus Transit Rapid (HDBTS) Mulling to introduce QR-based digital money transactions other than current services from lack of contact transactions.
Already discussed with leading agencies related to digital transactions held and working on the implementation of cash transactions based on QR at all HDBRTS bus stops.
After the pandemic hit the nation, commuting has demanded transactions without cash and digital.

Ganesh Rathod, Deputy General Manager, HDBRTS, said that beforehand we were thinking of promoting without cash, contact fewer transactions that are now very often done by people, now we plan to bring QR-based transactions in addition to contacts transactions less than contacts.
“In a few weeks QR-based cash transaction systems will be introduced at all HDBTS bus stops to minimize cash-based transactions and encourage people to pay through e-wallets, such as Google salary or phonepe.

Ashwini, a bank employee from Keshwapur said, we claimed that HDBRTS had advanced features and services, but it was very unfortunate that in the ticket counter there was still no digital payment system.
