Travel back to cancel Kanwar Yatra, VHP told and Uttarakhand

New Delhi: Reacting to the Government’s decision up and Uttarakhand to cancel Yatra Kanwar because the Pandemic took place, Secretary General of International Vishwa Hindu Parishad Surendra Jain on Sunday urged the two state governments to rethink their decisions and enable religious pilgrimage with the restrictions on Coronavirus.
“Kanwar Yatra is a very important religious religion for Hindus who bind the state in unity.
The Covid protocol must be followed but it is not true to ban Yatra.
This is my attraction to UP and Uttarakhand the government to rethink their decision,” Jain said.
He further stated that the judiciary should not be “selective” in his decision.
Meanwhile, VHP objected to the decision of the Kerala Government to calm Covid restrictions considering Eid al-Fitr, which will be celebrated on July 21, saying that it creates a “big” health challenge.
