Daily new cases on average for July 3-6 were recorded at 40,420, compared with more than 3.89 lakh cases recorded in the first week of May (May 1-7).
On Monday, around 34,703 new cases of Covid-19 were reported from all over the country.

Officials quoted an online survey involving 33,000 respondents who showed severe violations in terms of using masks and physical distances.
The survey showed that 69% of respondents did not comply with the use of proper masks, while compliance with physical distance norms was completely lost in 63% and 24% showed limited compliance.
Only 11% said they fully adhere to physical distance norms.
“Now, by lifting people’s restrictions concluded that the virus was over.
Viruses are still there and it is important to continue the action.
