Prayagraj: Given the heavy rush of passengers returned to their original cities from different countries such as Maharastra, Gujarat, Delhi, Punjab and Haryana during Diwali, the Ministry of Health on Thursday using 22 teams at the Bamrauli Bus Station and Airport to do Covid test.
A senior health official said 22 health teams, including seven each in Prayagraj and Cheoki Junctions, and each at two at the airport, zero road bus stands, civil bus stands and and two.
Official add that the health team equipped with the required testing facilities will conduct RPCR tests and passenger antigens.
If there are positive passengers tested, it will be stored in isolation.
Officials also said that there were 13 previous teams involved for Covid testing but now the power has been upgraded to 22 because of the celebration season.
