Travelers go up to the sky to get to Sunny Goa Beach

PANAJI: Airlines see a significant increase in demand especially on flights to Goa as the upcoming celebration season, relaxation of the entrance truck and higher number of vaccination captivates domestic travelers to be brought to the sky.
In September, 4.3 Lakh passengers moved through Goa International Airport and the number would only increase in the coming months because the Goa Tourism season took off.
The arrival and departure also reached a six-month height in September driven by demand from leaflets that had been locked up too long because of the second wave of Covid.
On Saturday itself, 66 flights landed at the Goa International Airport carrying 9,527 passengers to Goa.
The same number of flights departed, while 32 flights were canceled, according to Indian airport data from Indian data.
“The passenger movement took,” said Gagan Malik’s Goa Airport director.
The level close to 70 daily to Goa from all over India is crowded.
There are 23 flights from Mumbai, 13 flights from Delhi with several flights from Bengaluru and Hyderabad, all of which have a high passenger load factor.
According to the Airport Authority from India (AAI) data, in 2019-20, Goa International Airport handled 53,636 flights with 76.5 lakh domestic passengers and 7 international passenger 7 lakh.
According to an industrial study, in 2019, domestic tourists who arrived in Goa contributed around 71 lakh, while the arrival of foreign tourists stood at 9 lakh.
In 2020 were mostly drifting because of a pandemic, which had seen two waves in the state.
The curfew across the state and sidewalks testing Covid-19 limit tourists for several months, but since the cave relaxes the rules, there is an inflow of domestic travelers.
With restricted international trips, many people who choose a foreign vacation have turned to Goa for their breaks.
In mid-September, the Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant officially announced that the state was ready to welcome tourists back to the beach, historic sites and clubs.
The state government also received permission from the Ministry of Union and external affairs for international cruise flights to land in mid-November.
“Until now there is no application for the landing slot has been received.
It will take time for the charter operator to identify the slot, arrange the aircraft, market the flight, find the right crew, all of which will take two weeks,” Malik said.
With the Covid-19 cave number “controlled”, Sawant said that he hoped “the tourist season for Goa would be good” this year.
