TRF Top Leader Among 5 Terrorists Killed in Twin J & K Meetings

New Delhi: The top leader of the Front Resistance (TRF) is among the five terrorists who were killed in twin meetings with security forces in Kulgam Kashmir.
Front Resistance – which is associated with Pakistani-based Lashkar-e-Taiba – is said to be behind a series of civil killings that occur in the Valley recently.
Bukat Baku broke out in the Goplapora and Pombay area in the South Kashmir District.
While two terrorists were killed in Goplapura, three shot down in Pombay.
He said security forces launched Cordon operations and searches in the Gopalpora area after input about the existence of terrorists.
Search operations turned into a meeting after a terrorist opened fire on a party of security forces, who replied and in the next meeting, two ultras were killed, the official said.
The commander of TRF AFAQ Sikander was killed in the meeting, J & K IGP Vijay Kumar said in a tweet.
