Mangaluru: Anti-Naxal (ANF) Force is in a mission to bring tribal youth from remote villages in the naughty prone area to the mainstream, helping them do competitive exams.
On screening tests held by Mangaluru City Police on Friday, as part of the workshop throughout the month for candidates who want to join the police, 22 of them came from areas hit by Naxal which was called by the Nikhil Police Supervisor (SP) B.
He told Stoi, “After surveying villages and interacted with locals while combing operations in various districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, Mysore and Kodagu, we realized that there was a lot to do to lift tribal youth.” Moon Then we do a long motivational workshop a day.

Of the 200 youth attending workshops, 70% were boys.

We will also focus on their diet once they return, because some of them lack nutrition.
We hope to make these routine activities, and train young people to write competitive exams, “he said.
Nikhil said the trust development measures were taken under the guidance of DGP & IG Praveen Sood and ADGP (Internal Security Division) Arun Chakravarthy.
Anf Organizing volleyball and other sporting events regularly, where villagers compete with an anf team.
During a pandemic, the food kit sponsored ANF, and when there was a resistance to take a vaccine among the villagers, the team went to villages and personnel both of them in front of them.
In a village in DB Kuppe in MySuru, ANF, coordinating with local administration, has ensured that more than 100 people with disabilities are given unique disability IDs, so they can enjoy the various benefits provided by the government.
“We trying hard to see that people in naughty prone areas are given benefits and introduced to opportunities Ang enjoyed by people in cities.
In the next three-five years, our goal is to see that at least 30-40 young men in the police department come from naughty prone areas, “added Nikhil.
