Trichy: Humans are held to keep RS 40k crackers at home

Trichy: Trichy City Police arrested a 40-year-old man because illegally had a firecracker in the Melachinthamani area in Trichy on Saturday.
Police Inspector Fort C Dhayalan was arrested by Shyamsundar, 40, from Park Cauvery on charges of guarding RS 40,000 crackers at his residence.
Acting on the tip-off, the police team looked for his place and grabbed the crackers.
Inspector Dhayalan said that Shyamsundar bought crackers and save it at his home for retail sales, which could only be done with the right licenses issued by the district administration.
The police said that he did not have a valid license to sell crackers.
He was ordered under the explosive law, 1884, and returned in judicial detention.
