Kolkata: Trinamool Congress has asked party leaders not to comment on I-PAC, a helpful political advocacy group in Goa, Tripura, and Meghalaya.
On Thursday, the leader of TMC Lok Sabha Sudip Bandyopadhyay was reported to ask MP Senior Saugata Roy not to talk about this problem.
Roy remains unreachable to comment.
Party leaders also refused to speak on it.
Roy previously issued a statement that defended I-PAC, even suggested in his career that stretched over three decades, he did not find a talented individual team working in politics.
The statement occurred after several unbound media reports that suggested a frozen bond between I-PAC and TMC, especially in the nature of its sustainable role in Bengal.
Senior party leaders, including CM Mamata Banerjee, haven’t talked about this problem.
After the 2021 assembly poll, I-PAC and TMC signed a contract that would see the group helped the party beyond Lok Sabha’s polls 2024.
At present, this group was involved in helping TMC campaigns in Goa.
