Agartala: After the student protest and the differences found in the marking system, the TRIPURA Council of Secondary Education (TBSE) decided to pass almost all candidates who have registered for Madhyamic and a higher secondary exam this year, a highest official said.
The Tripura government has directed the State Education Council to review the results and find out if there is a difference, said Education Minister Lal Nath.
According to the announcement Wednesday, almost 99 percent of candidates have passed the council exam.
Speaking to reporters here, President Tbse Bhavatosh Sahha said, “Almost all higher and secondary secondary candidates will be promoted.
Decisions have been taken after reviewing the results and remembering other aspects of students.

“We asked Teachers from eight districts to re-examine their values evaluated.
During this exercise, some differences were found.”
Two weeks ago, 80.62 percent of candidates were declared passed in the Madhyamic test (class 10), while higher secondary results had a pass rate of 95.20 percent.
Nath told reporters that secondary and higher secondary results were stated by TBSE based on the evaluation process which was prescribed by the expert committee of 10 members for student assessment because the council exam could not be held in the Covid-19 situation.
The evaluation process has taken into account the performance of students in the previous class exam and the assessment report for each candidate comes from their respective schools.
But it was found that many students were not satisfied with their performance so that the government asked the council to review the results to determine the error, the Minister said.
The Minister asked students who had passed the exam but were still dissatisfied with the results to submit a separate examination in August 23.
Their examination will be carried out in September, he said.
