Guwahati: In the midst of open hatred in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Minister of Chief Justice Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday expanded the ministry of three and a half years by triggering three new faces.
All three new ministers – RAM Prasad Paul, Sushanta Chowdhury and Bhagaban Chandra Das come from BJP.
Deb does not humiliate someone from the front of the Indigenous Tripura Front (IPFT).
While Paul is a former Vice President of BJP State, Chowdhury is a youth leader and a watershed is the main leader of the party from North Tripura.
With this expansion, the strength of the ministry is now 11 years old, of which nine came from BJP and two of IPFT.
The ministry’s expansion was seen as an exercise to extinguish the fire of differences of opinion in the party ahead of the assembly selection of 2023.
