Agartala: The local court sent a Doctor of Tripura Medical College (TMC) to the next three-year-old day after dinner in the VIP zone.
The minister’s chairman fled with no injured but the vehicle ran to the side of the road and slid into the storm water drain.
The police arrested Subhajit Dhar, who worked at the Orthopedic Department of TMC Hospital and the residents of the Gandhighat region in the city.
He was found drunk and two bottles of liquor recovered from the vehicle.
The senior police officer interrogated him for a long time at night and said, “Dhar was drunk and there seemed to be no intention.
Suddenly after seeing the main minister along with security personnel while stopping the curve, he lost control and crashed into the nearest wall injured due to alert security personnel.
“The source said to the main minister was on the night walking in the colony behind his residence around 11pm.
While he passed by the residence of the opposition leader of Sarkar Manik, the car came from the opposite direction close to CM and slipped into the sewer.
Immediately, security staff held the driver and handed it to the West Agartala police station.
They escorted the minister’s chairman safely to his residence.
