Albany, NY: The tropical storm that moved quickly Elsa crashed into the region of New York City with heavy rain and strong winds due to stirring on the east coast on Friday.
The maximum sustainable wind of the storm peaked close to 50 mph (85 kph) while moving through New York City and Long Island, the National Hurricane Center said in the update 8 in the morning.
The wind speed has beaged from an overnight 78 mph (126 kpj) reading on the coast of New Jersey which seems to be associated with the nearest tornado.
