LONDON: Leandro Trossard scored the final winner with a curling shot from the edge of the box because Brighton & Hove Albion secured a 1-0 victory over Borgot Brentford in a Premier League match that lived at the Brentford Community Stadium on Saturday.
The purpose of Trossard was only a second shot on the target for the visitors, but the quality of the game they had lost to that point when they caused the first defeat of the season on their newly promoted host.
Maju Belgium took the ball on the edge of the box, jumped away from two defenders and arched her shot to the lower corner to climb home fans, who had watched their side wasting the opportunity to win the match.
The best fell to Bryan Mbeumo, who was riding several occasions by Ivan Toney was brilliant, but could not find the first goal of the Premier League season.
Toney saw Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from the line earlier but his brave efforts of 40 yards sailed narrowly on the bar.
He then arranged Mbeumo 10 meters but French front players opened fire on the bar, before the same two combined for similar results from further.
It was Mbeumo entered a good position when Brentford might expect it was Toney, and after the last he founded his teammate again, this time a shot from the edge of the area curved from another post because another chance went to beg.
Brighton went up to third on the table.
