Hyderabad: There is more for a series of statements made by the leaders of TRS and ministers against the Minister of Chief Justice of Jagan Mohan Reddy and his late father, former CM YS Rajasehara Reddy than those who filled the eyes.
TRS seems to adopt a twin pronged strategy on the father-child duo.
First, the Telangana government wants to stop the jagan to advance with the Rayalaseema (RIP) lift irrigation project and the improvement of Srisailam’s right bank canal work.
Second, the ruling party wants to cancel YSR YS Sharmila’s daughter who is currently traveling around the district promises to deliver ‘Rajna Rajyam’ (YSR gold rule) in Telangana.
Immediately after the recent country cabinet meeting, half a dozen ministers and Trs Mlaas raised the tempo against Jagan and YSR for what they called illegal irrigation projects, especially the RLIP, built by AP on the Krishna River and harmed the interests of Telangana.
Vemula Minister Prashanth Reddy, V Srinivas Gound, S Niranjan Reddy and G Jagadish Reddy and Mla stepped as far as calling Jagan and YSR as “water thieves”.
They alleged that if YSR had made serious injustice against Telangana by increasing the capacity of pothhireddadu, his son was building a RLIP who would leave Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda regencies that were released for water.
Srinivas Good even accused that YSR was indirectly responsible for the death of Congress leader P Janardhan Reddy.
On the other hand, some AP ministers also began to issue a statement to defend jagan.
While war words between Telangana and AP ministers have increased, both Jagan and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been striking with their silence.
The sources at TRS said only after KCR had given ‘green signal’ for attacks on Jagan and YSR, ministers and MLAS launched insults.
Telangana government officials claim that the recent letters to KRMB and NGT have several effects.
“YSR opposed Telangana’s formation when he was cm even though the leadership of the Congress in Delhi supported a separate situation.
The state formation was delayed because of him,” the alleged Srinivas Goud.
Analysts said the leaders of TRS and the government had criticized the AP government on irrigation projects but had stayed away from the name Besmirching YSR.
But now, they have gone throughout pigs.
Analysts said TRS took advantage of the opportunity to target Jagan and Sharmila.
The latter launched his new party on July 8 and wanted to build himself as the successor to YSR in Telangana.
