CRJAIPUR: The Branch of Police Crime Rajasthan Monday won one quintus marijuana hidden in a truck in the Chittorgarh district near the Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh border.
A special team led by IG VK Singh and DSP Pushpendra Singh Rathore has received special input that a truck loaded with traveling narcotics from Andhra Pradesh to Rajasthan.
Branch officials intercepted trucks and cars drove him and arrested the defendant identified as Lal Singh, Ratan Singh and Satish aka Mama.
Police officials said narcotics were packaged in 170 boxes and wrapped tightly.
“Medicines will be sold at around Rs 15,000 per kg.
Allegedly delivered for supply near the Chittorgarh region,” said an official, added that the police team guarded the tab close to truck vehicles for the past few days.
Immediately after the truck in Rajasthan, the police team arrested the truck and driver of the car.
“We interrogated to examine the main Kingpin racket for further investigation,” the official said.
The police found that the defendant had made a special cavity in the truck cabin to hide the marijuana package.
“Further interrogation is underway to determine the remaining identity accused,” officially added.
