Tirupati: The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday appointed Jumbo Trust Board with 29 members and 52 special invitations for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which runs the Balaji Lord Temple in Tirumala.
This is the biggest belief council in the history of the richest Hindu endowmen body in the world.
The last belief board has less than 40 powers while the newly formed board has 81 members including Ex-Officio members and special invitations.
Incidentally, the power of the council believes TTD exceeds the Union cabinet by three members.
The Union cabinet has a power of 78 including the prime minister.
