Surat: Four police officers of the UMRA police station on Thursday were booked to try to kill after the court order in the case of an attack on a 23-year-old man who ended in a comma.
The police have struggled by the man in June 2021 which was allegedly because they did not wear a mask properly.
Judge Yudicial First Class (JMFC) (Municipal) has been on December 27 passed the command to direct the police department to submit a case against the police posted at the police station Umra who was involved in beating one Samir Ansari, a resident of Taman Gulshan near Paliya Ground.
On Thursday a violation was registered against Nilesh, Dhansukh, an unknown policeman and a police officer officer of the UMRA police station.
The four were ordered under various parts of the Indian Criminal Code including murder efforts (307), intentional insults and provocations (504).
The investigation has been submitted to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch.
“A violation has been registered according to the direction of the court and the probe has been submitted to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch,” said an officer at the Umra police station.
The court has issued orders based on complaints submitted by Samir’s father, Kamil, after the police complaint was not submitted against the police accused.
