Hyderabad: In the Big Traders to Gold Jewelry Traders, the Telangana State Pollution Control Agency (TSPCB) has slapped red notifications at 29 centers of testing and blocking (AHC) in twin cities because it causes pollution and ordered them to move outside the ring road (ORR )).
TSPCB, Hyderabad, Environmental Engineer M Dayanand was confirmed to TOI about notification.
“Notifications are presented in more than half a dozen AHC in twin cities to shift them outside ORR,” he said.
The state may make a final decision about their relocation because gold jewelry traders have represented public and government representatives, he added.
Expressing sadness over the notification, the Indian Association of the typical centers, Chapter Telangana, urged the government to free AHC and allow them to work as usual.
“We plan to meet the City Administration Minister and City Development (MA & UD) KT Rama Rao.
We will ask him to direct TSPCB not to put pressure on them to shift because hundreds of workers and staff will lose their livelihoods,” the Central Association of India , Chapter Telangana, Sunil Agarwal Vice President to Ti.
Recently, some gold jewelry that operates AHC meet with the Chairman of PCB Rajiv Sharma and look for its intervention to attract PCB notifications.
“He responded positively and promised to discuss this issue with the Department of Industry,” said AHC representative.
Association members also met MP Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi, who promised to take this problem with KTR notice.
Gold jewelery traders have spent RS 50-80 lakh to arrange AHC by getting an import machine.
“The steps have been taken to prevent pollution when processing precious metals and it will not cause health hazards too,” other traders, who have operated AHC for more than a decade, said.
Meanwhile, the task force (members of gold jewelry traders), which have been formed to complete a major challenge in the implementation of distinctive features, have begun to reduce plans to put pressure on the government to drop the relocation step.
