KS Jawahar Reddy Ias held a meeting with Representative Chancellor Dr.
Y Janakiraman and other officials from the University of Horticulture Dr.
YSR in Tirupati on Wednesday and shared the planned body of the temple adopting dried flower technology.
“Dried flower technology which is a very popular form of artistic expression during the Victoria period and continues to gain popularity even now.
One of the most promising areas in Floriculture is a dry flower industry.
Flowers and dried plants have been exported for the last 40 years and India has emerged as one The world’s leading exporter.
Potpourri dried flowers that are in demand are used in making several products including handmade paper, laminate photos, candle lights, etc.

TTD EO told Deputy Chancellor of Horticulture University Dr.
YSR that the temple’s body will allocate the necessary land in Tirupati to create a center with other research and infrastructure stations needed for a period of five years, after the facility can be submitted to the TTD.
Dr.
T Janakiran who agreed to take the TTD proposal for notification of the State Government told TTD EO about the various products launched and marketed by Dr.
YSR Horticulture the last university.
“We have launched various flavors of tea including marigold tea, hibiscus tea, rose tea, etc.
Various beauty and personal care products have also been launched by the recent university”, added representatives of Chancellor.
