PORTO: Chelsea trainer Thomas Tuchel stated he’d felt prior to the Champions League final that his side will triumph on Saturday.
Tuchel advised Paris Saint-Germain to last year’s Champions League final that they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich.
PSG sacked the German December but that he was almost instantly hired by Chelsea and headed the Russian-owned club into the next Champions League success in their history as a result of one aim from Kai Havertz at Porto.
“You realize I was grateful to arrive another time (at the closing after doing this with PSG past year) but that felt different.
I told people earlier it had been,” Tuchel informed BT Sport.
He also paid tribute to his own”incredible” players.
“It was a remarkably difficult struggle, what a struggle.
Now they have been determined to acquire this.
We desired to be the rock into their (City’s) shoe.
“I advised everybody to measure and to become brave with the chunk.
“Kai was powerful and delivered .
He’s got heart.
