Turkey rejects the US list that has implications for Ankara using children’s soldiers

Ankara: Turkey refused on Friday the US decision to add Ankara to the list of governments involved with the use of children’s army for the past year, called the hypocritical movement.
“A striking example of the standard of hypocrisy and double as an AIDS openly, providing weapons for (Kurdish militant group) PKK / YPG which is forcibly recruited children,” said a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it was “strange” that the list did not mention the Kurdish militant group, which had fought the rebellion against Turkey for more than 40 years.
The US sees YPG as the main allies in the war against the Islamic state.
The United States on Thursday added Turkey to the list, placing NATO allies for the first time in a list like that, in a step that tends to complicate relationships that are full of Ankara and Washington.
