Turkish President Erdogan again made a reference to Kashmir at Unga’s address

The United Nations: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has mentioned Kashmir’s problem in his speech to world leaders in the high-level UN General Assembly session.
Last year, Erdogan in his pre-recorded video statement to the general debate had made a reference to Jammu and Kashmir.
India at that time referred to as “truly unacceptable”, said Turkey must learn to respect the sovereignty of other countries and reflect its own policies in depth.
Erdogan in his speech to the public debate on Tuesday said: “We maintain our attitude to resolve the ongoing problems in Kashmir for 74 years, through dialogue between the parties and within the relevant UN resolution framework.” The Turkish president, the allied near Pakistan, has repeatedly raised Kashmir’s problem in his speech to a high level of general debate.
He also raised Kashmir’s problem during his visit to Pakistan last year.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) at that time said Erdogan’s comments did not reflect the understanding of the history or behavior of diplomacy and that they would have strong implications in Indian bonds with Turkey.
India said rejecting repeated efforts by Turkey to justify cross-border terrorism “practiced so blatantly” by Pakistan.
In his speech on Tuesday, the President of Turkey also referred to Uyghurs of Chinese minority Muslims in Xinjiang and Rohingya Myanmar during the address.
Erdogan said that “in the perspective of Chinese territorial integrity, we believe that more effort needs to be displayed on the protection of the basic rights of Uyghur Turks Muslims.” The US and UE in addition to many other countries accused China to conduct genocide against UyGhurs in Xinjiang rich in resources and called for international investigations by human rights groups.
“We also support ensuring the return of Rohingya Muslims who are safe, voluntary, dignified, who live in difficult conditions in camps in Bangladesh and Myanmar, return to their homeland,” Erdogan said.
