Surat: Participants of this Valmiki Samaj assembled in the town police commissioner workplace’s gates Wednesday to enroll their ire in an unsavouray remark passed by means of a television star contrary to the neighborhood. Three members of this community also tried to swallow phenyl in the place, but had been detained.Actress Yuvika Chaudhary had supposedly used a derogatory term for its neighborhood at a video which was gone viral. The neighborhood leaders are demanding rigorous legal action against her. They also have filed a memorandum under the aegis of both Swabhiman, an organisation representing the neighborhood, required filing of an FIR from Chaudhary in seven days. They also have jeopardized of suicide efforts should no action is taken promptly. “Since the authorities didn’t take any actions our members tried suicide. Celebrities are insulting our neighborhood however, no actions have been taken from them” alleged Jayanti Vaghela, a neighborhood leader. Kamlesh Solanki, president of Swabhiman, stated that the neighborhood needs cops to enroll an offence contrary to the celebrity and arrest her. “These remarks have hurt our neighborhood,” he further added.
