Mumbai: A food kiosk operator from Lokmanya Tilated Terminus (LTT) was arrested by the Force Protection of Train (RPF) to open a fake Twitter account, on behalf of a woman, and a tweeting of alerts, many turned out to be false.
Official RPF said Twitter posts had soared in the past month which encouraged them to launch a question to the user’s identity.
Devendra Singh, Vendor, posted an apology on Tuesday before being held.

He started a ‘padmapandey18’ twitter account on September 2020.
Initially, he only posted photos of Bollywood actresses.
But soon he began the Larade complaint using a Twitter account.
“Complaints related to illegal activities such as unauthorized ticket sales, illegal vendors, or train display trains.
He will mark the train ministry in his position and sometimes, the train minister is also,” said a senior RPF officer.
Two days ago, he tweeted about a Samosa seller who operated on LTT without a mask and was allegedly rude.
RPF responded to his message that they could not find Samosa sellers, where he reprimanded the personnel in a separate post.
Cyber RPF cells are then asked to conduct an investigation and find out who is a Twitter user.
“Founded that Singh had tweeted as Padma Pandey.
His cellphone was examined and the evidence was found,” said an officer.
Singh said he held a grudge against Samosa sellers and had tweeted in the hope that he would get a problem with the authorities.
